Tanya Gentry has served as the President of the SCDAA, San Diego Chapter for over nine years with the support of her family and Treasurer Eboni Robinson.  As a sickle cell warrior and advocate, Tanya has dedicated almost a decade of her life to assisting patients, families and sickle cell awareness.

Kristyl Smith is the newest member of the SCDAA, San Diego Board and like Tanya, is also a sickle cell warrior. After completing her degree at San Diego State University, Kristyl has shown dedication to sickle cell awareness through her advocacy on her campus and beyond city and state boarders.  Tanya and Eboni welcome Kristyl to the team as a spokesperson in 2013, to now an Executive Director in 2014.

Eboni Robinson has served along side Tanya for nine years at the SCDAA, San Diego. Though her title is Treasurer, Eboni plays multiple roles to keep the association in operation. Eboni became passionate about sickle cell after learning Tanya’s journey as a sickle cell warrior and has been a vital resource to ensuring our children and adult patients are receiving the care they need.
